Yelland and Papps Second Take Roussanne
Susan and Michael Papps began their dream of starting their own Barossa Valley winery in 2005. They use wild yeasts, whole-bunch fermentation, older, large-format oak barrels, and no fining or filtration. Their mission is to produce purely fruited wines expressive of their origin.
Second Take Roussanne is cloudy, wild, and fun. Really textured Roussanne with fresh golden apple, pear and grapefruit flavours, and gentle oak spice.
Pairs well with bouillabaisse, cauliflower cheese, French onion soup, shellfish and turkey.
