Voyager Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot
From the renowned Margaret River region of Western Australia, this exceptional blend showcases Voyager Estate’s dedication to quality. Founded by Michael Wright, whose passion shaped the estate into what it is today. It remains family-owned, with his daughter, Alex Burt, continuing his meticulous approach.
A blend of 86% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Merlot, and 2% Petit Verdot, this wine was matured for 18 months in French oak (50% new, 50% two-year-old) and has an alcohol content of 13.6%.
- Deep red-purple in colour
- Expressive bouquet of violets, cassis, and blackberry, complemented by hints of crushed leaf and seaweed.
- The palate is refined yet intense, with sweet dark and red fruits layered over fine, powdery tannins.
- Voyager Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot has notes of chocolate, mocha, and cedar add complexity.
With the added maturity before release, this wine is drinking beautifully now but will continue to develop gracefully over time.
