Aging: 24 months in Slavonian oak vessels of 20, 26, or 50 HL, part in new ones and part in old ones. When the maturation in oak is ended, the wine rest in a bottle for 6 more months before entering the market.  ages 15 to 20 years

The highest expression of our Sangiovese (Prugnolo Gentile), with ripe red and black fruit flavors (strawberry, cherry, raspberry, plum) together with floral aromas (violet, rose). It doesn’t lack interesting spicy notes such as cocoa, tobacco, and dried mushrooms. On the mouth, La Croce is a robust, powerful, and tannic wine.

Vino Nobile is one of the three great Tuscan red wines along with Chianti Classico and Brunello di Montalcino.
