The English VE-Day 80th Anniversary Whisky

This limited-edition release marks the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe (VE) Day – May 8, 1945 – when Allied forces accepted Nazi Germany’s surrender, ending World War II in Europe.

Only 3,000 bottles have been released as part of the commemorative collection health and wellbeing services. Bottled at 46% with non-chill filtration and natural colouring.

Distilled in Norfolk at England’s oldest registered whisky distillery, this whisky is matured in a blend of ex-bourbon and virgin oak casks. The result is a rich and layered profile.

• Sweet toffee and ripe banana lead, followed by burnt sugar, tropical fruit, vanilla sponge, and a touch of pepper.
• On the palate, expect sticky toffee, crisp apples and pears, milk chocolate, brown sugar, and gentle ginger.
• It finishes fresh and oaky.

Each bottle comes in a commemorative decanter, made to be kept as a lasting reminder of a turning point in modern history. The English Whisky Co. continues its partnership with Norfolk-based charity Walking With The Wounded, donating £2 from every bottle to support UK veterans through tailored mental health and wellbeing services.
