Mount Gay Black Barrel Rum

Released in the UK in 2014, the black barrel rum is from single column and double pot distilled rum. Using a higher proportion of double pot distillates than their other expressions. Finishing in heavily charred bourbon barrels before bottling.

• Rich warming notes of plum on the nose. Enjoy sultanas, cracked black pepper and creamy vanilla from the bourbon barrel finish
• The palate is toasty, deep spice with plenty of cinnamon and a hint of liquorice
• The finish is long and balanced
