For over 155 years, the Morris family have earned their position as one of the most prominent winemaking families in Australia, with their name being synonymous with for many years.
With an average age of around eight to ten years, this classic muscat has freshness and varietal character balanced by subtle age complexity from time in barrel.

Morris Of Rutherglen classic liqueur muscat is perfect with strong after-dinner coffee, strong blue cheese, custard-based desserts, Christmas or plum puddings.
Grape selection for hand harvesting takes place between 15 to16 baume. Once in the winery, crushing of the grapes begins then fermentation. Once reaching the baume level, pressing takes place. To arrest fermentation there is an addition of high strength neutral spirit. Then the juice is put in casks for maturation.
Blending consists of a selection of wines from different vintages, each contributing special characteristics. Making a with complexity, age, youthfulness, freshness of flavour and consistency of style.
