Montelobos Ensamble Joven Mezcal

Montelobos Ensamble, as the name may suggest is from three different types of agave from Oaxaca. Predominantly made up of the agave variety Papalote which is complemented by Tobala and Espadin.

• A vibrant and inviting aroma of pink pepper, chamomile, and candied apple
• The body of the mezcal is full and substantial, while the acidity provides a refreshing counterpoint, highlighting the smoky and fruity notes
• On the palate, the flavours evolve and deepen. Hints of capers, nutmeg, and pink pepper emerge, adding layers of complexity
• The finish is long and lingering

Meticulously crafting using methods that have been practiced for over 500 years. Produced in Santiago Matatlan, renowned as the “Mezcal Capital of the World,” Montelobos honours the region’s rich heritage of rituals and community respect for the land.

The wolf holds a significant place in , symbolising the wild spirit of their mezcal. To reflect this connection, they partner with the Wolf Conservation Centre (WCC), a non profit dedicated to preserving North American wolf populations.
