Produced only with Nebbiolo grapes, locally called “Chiavennasca”, carefully selected from our historic vineyards. Who distinguishes himself for excellence and dignity deserves to be always the first. Surely it’s La Priora®, a delicate wine who’s born from the grapes of the noblest of the 4 subzones of Valtellina Superiore D.O.C.G, the Sassella. Here the vineyards are terraced on the precious ground that the strength of countrymen of Valtellina extracted from solid rock and Stoney soil who gives the name Sassella. According to the disciplinary measures for “Valtellina Superiore D.O.C.G.” production a wine can be given the qualify of “Riserva” only after refining of 36 months, 12 of them in oak barrels.
