Keigetsu Sake Nature
has been made by the family owned Tosa brewery since 1877. The brewery is situated in a beautiful mountainous region called Tosa-Reihoku in the Kochi Prefecture. Keigetsu is a Japanese term that describes the beautiful evening scene created when the moon hangs over Katsurahama shore.
Keigetsu uses local rice varieties, organically grown within three miles of the brewery, as well as the king of sake rice, Yamadanishiki. This grows in clay soil 350-600 metres above sea level in the Hyogo and Kochi Prefectures and is regarded as the best sake rice.
- Sake Nature has enticing aromas of beautifully ripe stone fruit and white blossom.
- The palate offers well-balanced, pure flavours of juicy pear and peach.
- Elegant and persistent finish.
Perfect paired with poached white fish in a creamy sauce, dishes with aromatic Asian spices or miso-based sauces. Best served chilled between five and eight degrees Celsius.
