Glen Scotia Double Cask Whisky

This double cask is matured in the finest first fill bourbon barrels and then finished for twelve months in  casks, producing an outstanding  with the perfect balance of rich spicy fruits, overlaid with characteristic sea spray and vanilla oak finish for which the house of Glen Scotia is famous. 

On the nose, this  is sweet with flavours of caramel, caramelised fruit, toffee and fudge following onto apple and peach with charred notes of bourbon and a pleasing dusty dryness.

The palate is also sweet with a tongue-tingling buzz and a good weight on the mid-palate.

The dry character from the nose leads through onto the palate all the way to the deep and dark finish.
