Finca Valpiedra Rioja Reserva, Rioja, Spain

The unique soils and climate of Rioja Alta give the Finca Piedra Rioja Reserva its unique and sophisticated character. A blend dominated by 94% Tempranillo, with the addition of 3% Graciano and 3% Maturana Tinta. Aged for 22 months in French oak barrels, this wine shows a ripeness and development of flavour not typically expressed with such finesse.

This  is purple with ruby highlights, the Finca Valpiedra Rioja Reserva shows aromas of raspberries and black cherries with undertones of vanilla, mild tobacco, leather, and spice. The palate is expansive and rich, with excellent smoothness and volume, developing a delicate tannic structure, making it incredibly tasty. A very long finish with spicy, fruity, woody notes.

Perfect shared with stewed red meats, roast lamb, game dishes, and semi-matured cheese.
