Domaine Ferret Pouilly-Fuisse Hors Classe 1er Cru Tournant De Pouilly 

This comes from a one-hectare parcel, situated over the crest from Menetrieres. The vineyard has a northern and eastern aspect, planted on light marly limestone with abundant stones. The vines were planted between 1955 and 1964, making them some of the oldest at the estate.

A small 15-acre parcel was replanted in 2018 but will not be included in this cuvee for several years. The terroir’s northeast-facing slopes provide a perfect balance of ripeness and freshness, ideal for high-quality Chardonnay.

• The nose is delicate, offering fresh almond and linden blossom, with hints of orchard apples.
• The palate is pure and mineral driven. Vibrant citrus notes of lemon and lime give the wine a superb backbone.
