Deanston 15 Year Old Tequila Cask Finish Whisky

Part of the new Deanston experimental, limited-edition series which celebrates the Highland characteristics in innovative ways. The whisky is matured for 15 years in traditional Oak hogsheads and then finished in hand-selected casks that were previously used to store Agave Tequila from the Jaliscan Highlands in Mexico.

The result is a delightful combination of fruity and floral notes from the tequila casks that complement the versatile, waxy, citrus character of Deanston. On the nose, you can expect a fresh and fruity burst, while the palate offers a sweet, rich, and dry taste, with warming spice and caramelized agave sweetness. Bottled at a cask strength of 52.5% ABV.
