This has intense aromas of orange peel and jasmine are followed on the palate by flavours of pink grapefruit and white stone fruit. The finish is zesty and crisp, helping to lift the rich, textured mouthfeel.
was purchased in 1936 by the Matton-Farnet family and soon after, the vineyards were completely replanted with a focus on traditional, local grape varieties, painstakingly farmed to produce lower yields.
The grapes come from the oldest of the estate’s own coastal vineyards, which are sustainably farmed and planted on mica-schist soils with a south-western exposure. The grapes were all harvested by hand.
