Dating from 1648, Caronne has been in the hands of the Nony family since the 19th century. Situated just 500 metres from St. Julien. The soils are iron-rich clay sandstone, which produce an elegant Haut-Medoc with the capacity to age beautifully.

• Chateau Caronne Ste Gemme Haut-Medoc is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (65%) with a healthy dollop of Merlot (30%) and a dash of Petit Verdot (5%)
• Entrancing aromas of cherry, currant, mocha, tobacco, and a hint of pepper. Intense flavours of dark cherry and menthol, with saline minerality and spicy tannins

Perfect served with classic meat dishes, Asian dishes, hearty fish courses, mushroom-based pasta, and cheese.
