Buitenverwachting, meaning ‘beyond expectation’, belongs to the Mueller family, who have lovingly restored both its buildings and its reputation as a source of particularly elegant South African wine.
Situated on the slopes of the magnificent Constantiaberg, the history of the estate is rooted in the very heart of South Africa itself. Once part of the original Constantia Estate, founded by Simon van der Stel, the first Governor of the Cape.
