Set amidst the picturesque hills of North Herefordshire, the Whittern Estate is a historic family farm with a modern approach to farming. Once a traditional arable farm, the family decided to change direction by growing blackcurrants, a true taste of the British countryside. Jo Hilditch is the current guardian of the farm and produces British Cassis for White Heron Drinks.

Made from blackcurrants handpicked from their Herefordshire farm, this natural fruit liqueur is rich and full-bodied. The freshly picked British blackcurrants undergo natural fermentation with champagne yeast, then blended with vodka for strength and a touch of sugar to enhance the bold, fruity flavours.
