German Brandy matured for eight years in French Limousin oak casks. Asbach 8 Year Old Brandy offers a distinctive fruity profile complemented by subtle undertones of dark chocolate and cedar wood. Its full-bodied character is marked by a pronounced spiciness, showcasing a robust fruitiness enriched with subtle almond undertones and a background of warming spice notes.

Born in Cologne in 1868, Hugo Asbach embarked on a journey that led him to France during his apprenticeship, where he honed the art of distilling wine. Upon his return to Germany in 1892, he established his own wine distillery in Rudesheim am Rhein. Following Hugo Asbach’s passing, his sons carried on his legacy, expanding the brand’s reach to over 50 countries worldwide.

The label on the bottle pays homage to the original document where Hugo Asbach recorded the recipe in 1892. The lion featured on the seal is the heraldic animal of the Asbach family, symbolizing the founder’s courage and representing the strength and power inherent in the product.
