Green harvesting, hand-picking, careful sorting, vinification by individual site. Their own especially developed indigenous yeasts, and large oak casks from the Stockinger cooperage.
Their wines are as true an expression of terroir as any sauvignon blanc or . Both their whites and reds have the potential to age gracefully over time.
Vincent Pinard Cuvee Flores is the signature wine in the range. It is from the fruit of the ‘Terroirs de Bue;’ vines on Kimmeridgian and Oxfordien. Limestone-rich soils at altitudes of 240 to 275 metres above sea level.
The vines, which are 35 years old on average, are at a density of 7,000 vines per hectare. They partially ferment the wine in large oak casks, adding more complexity and texture to this beautifully crisp Sancerre. After fermentation, it is matured for 7 to 9 months in old oak.
