Rene Lequin-Colin Bourgogne Pinot Noir
- Ripe plum and blackberry aromas
- Black fruits and lots of freshness on the palate
The lineage of the Lequin family traces back through generations of Burgundian producers. Establishing their deep-rooted connection to Santenay as far back as 1679. The inaugural release of Lequin-Colin wines took place in 1976. A handful of years subsequent to the union of René Lequin and Josette Colin. Notably, Josette Colin hailed from an ancestral line of vintners in Chassagne-Montrachet.
In the present day, the stewardship of the family’s 9-hectare vineyard, spanning Santenay, Chassagne-Montrachet, Pommard, and Corton, rests in the capable hands of their son, Francois. The ethos of the Lequin-Colin estate centres unwaveringly on authenticity and excellence. Commencing from 1997, the vineyards have been using meticulous plowing techniques, and since 2009, they have embraced organic farming practices.
With a commitment to precision both in the vineyards and the winery, the outcome is a collection of aromatic and robust . These wines possess the capacity to be savoured in their youth. Revealing lively fruit bouquets, or to cellar for a period, unfurling into richer, matured flavour profiles.
