Mariana Onofri, Sommelier and Winemaker, and Adan Giangiulio, viticulturist, are from Lavalle. One of the oldest wine growing regions north of . In 2014 they started Onofri Wines, a boutique winery project that focuses on sustainable farming and minimal intervention winemaking.

Their goal is to produce  using an artisanal way. Rescuing old vines, historical regions and grape varieties, as well as innovating with grapes that display a great adaptation in Mendoza.

Onofri Alma Gemela White Field Blend is 40% each of Marsanne and Roussanne and 20% Chardonnay form Los Chacayes, Uco Valley, Mendoza. These grape varieties are then co-fermented. Using stainless steel with indigenous yeasts. The wine undergoes partial malolactic fermentation and spends 10 months maturing in French oak, of which 20% is new.
