Presented in a striking gift tin, the Rubicon Magnum will make the ideal present.

The combination of properly sighted, mature and healthy vines and near optimum weather conditions, have ensured an expressive wine that is a true South African classic.

The Rubicon exhibits a deep, youthful colour with an almost purple hue with intense spiciness, violets, cedar wood and plums on the nose. As it’s still a young , it will improve greatly with further aging. The palate is structured, yet full-bodied and packed full of sumptuous dark fruit and linear, rounded tannins.

The  spends 21 months in 70% new French Nevers oak and 30% in second fill Nevers and Alliers wine barrels.

Provided the Rubicon is stored in optimum cellar conditions, the wine will age brilliantly for another 15 to 20 years.
