La Cuvee is the house’s new signature champagne. Made from grape juice from the finest part of the pressing, La Cuvee defines the light House style and serves as an ideal introduction to their wines with its characteristic lightness, freshness and elegance.
La Cuvee is a blend of over 100 crus and up to 30% reserve wines. A blend of 55% Chardonnay – double the usual amount in Champagne and at least four years of ageing gives this champagne its unique personality and ensures perfect maturity upon release.
La Cuvee is pale gold with a steady stream of fine bubbles. The nose has delicate aromas of citrus fruits, underpinned by hints of white flowers. A perfect balance between freshness and finesse, the Chardonnay flavours predominate in the mouth – crisp green apples and citrus flavours – giving the Champagne good food compatibility. The palate is full-bodied, complex and creamy, displaying great length on the finish.
