Frog’s Leap Estate Cabernet Sauvignon
Since founded in 1981, this Rutherford estate has been the source of some of the best value wine in Napa Valley. John Williams passionately believes in dry farming, and was ahead of the curve with respect to organics and regenerative agriculture.
All the effort goes into looking after the soils and the vines. They are firm believers that if you keep your natural inputs healthy, there is no need to mess around so much in the winery. New oak is kept to a minimum, and extractions are very gentle.
Frog’s Leap Estate Cabernet is fruit entirely from Rutherford, one of the prime AVAs for . This is classic Napa cabernet, enjoyable on release but also with potential for ageing over a few decades.
