Dr Squid Gin is crafted by Pocketful of Stones, an independent distillery based in Penzance, Cornwall. Established by a group of friends and experienced bartenders from London, they relocated to the Southwest to pursue their passion for distilling. Their flagship product, Dr Squid Gin, is uniquely made with real squid ink, resulting in a black pour that turns vivid pink when mixed with tonic. The gin is presented in an engraved copper flask, reflecting the local scenery, wildlife, and folklore.

• Squid Ink is such a powerful ingredient only a minimal amount is needed both for the distilling and colour or infusion of the gin.
• Vanilla is added to the base of the recipe to give a well rounded mouthfeel and perceived sweetness, coupled with sea buckthorn for a tart, fresh fruit finish.
• Dr Squid pours black and when mixed with tonic turns a vivid pink. It also makes for a great Gin Mule when poured over crushed ice and ginger beer
