Descrizione
From the wonderful, traditional house of Martiez Lacuesta comes this ultra-traditional wine, fortified and aromatised in the same way it has been made since 1937.
A vermouth that is bitter, sweet and aromatic, this white version is smooth and expressive with notes of ginger, cinnamon, sandal-wood and vanilla.
It is aged in American oak barriques for three years and then finished in French oak barrels for extra complexity. The result is a Vermut (to give it its Spanich name) that has a delicious richness, balanced by the acidity of the white wine, making it superb as an aperitif on its own or as a partner in crime for whichever party-piece you desire from your cocktail menu.
We’re very partial to it on ice with a slice of lemon and an olive. And a bowl of toasted almonds.
