Founded in 1907 by 36 local farmers, Kellerei St. Pauls produces wines with clear identities that highlight the unique terroirs. Each grape variety finds its ideal position on the slopes and hills, dating from the last Ice Age, with their different types of soil.

Protection from the Alps, 1800 annual hours of sunshine, aeration from the downdraught from the Mendel range, and warm days and cool nights are all contributing factors to high quality grapes.

Kellerei St Pauls Plotzner Pinot Bianco is named after the hilly area around Plotznerhof. The mix of limestone, quartz soils and cool mountain winds make this land ideal to pinot bianco. Fermentation takes place in large, old wooden vats, undergoing partial malolactic fermentation. Spending a short period of time resting on its fine lees.
