This is the third release of Laphroaigs The Ian Hunter Story Series. Each release shares a glimpse of the former owner and distillery manager’s story at the on Islay. A total of fifteen books in the collection.
Dedicating book 3 to Ian’s passion for protecting the water source during his time there, contributing to shaping the character of the distillery’s today.
Matured exclusively in ex-Bourbon casks, allowing the iconic Laphroaig peatiness to shine through.

- Aromas of pears, peaches then apricots and lots of condensed sweetness open this delicious and vintage Laphroaig up
- Followed by notes of honey and rose petal, a dash of nutmeg, and finishing with ashy-dry peat
- A very long finish with lingering, alternating ashy vanilla and peaty aromas
- Enjoy a sweet, syrupy, fruity mouthfeel to start, it climbs and coats the whole of your palate. It dips to a huge second wave of aniseed, followed by creamy liquorice notes
