Bruichladdich Octomore 15.2 Single Malt Whisky

Distilled from the same batch of Scottish-grown barley and malted to an intense 108.2 PPM, Octomore 15.2 stands out with its unique maturation process. Ageing the whisky in a combination of second-fill wine and second-fill bourbon casks before finishing in first-fill cognac casks.

This intricate maturation creates layers of complexity, resulting in a single malt that is both robust and elegant. Smooth hints of nutmeg, toasted oak, and caramel enrich the palate. While the signature delicate floral notes of Octomore shine through.

• On the nose, sweet citrus aromas of lime zest and lemon meringue pie lead the way. Followed by toasted oak and a subtle touch of earthy smoke. Vibrant tropical fruit enhances the whisky’s complexity, perfectly balanced with woody spices, smoked honey, toasted bread, and roasted coffee undertones
• The whisky’s viscous texture delivers a smooth experience. With flavours of vanilla custard, caramel, and toffee complemented by a dash of black pepper. Layers of charred oak, cinnamon, and nutmeg add depth, while pear drops and dried apricot cut through the signature peat smoke
• The finish is unmistakably maritime, with waves of salt spray leaving a refreshing touch on the palate, while the lingering peat embers provide a smoky, satisfying end
