Castello Di Querceto Chianti Classico

Castello di Querceto is located in the heart of the Chianti Classico area and has been in the hands of the Francois family since 1897. It is famous for its and classic Chiantis. The vineyards, which sit 470 metres above sea level and extend around a 16th century castle, were planted between 1975 and 1985.

• Classic blend of 92% Sangiovese. Supported by local grapes Canaiolo Nero, Colorino, Mammolo and Ciliegiolo
• Juicy, with complex aromas of blackberries, cherries and bramble, and a hint of pepper. Dry and balanced on the palate, with a soft and elegant body, and sweet tannins. Dark fruit, earthy notes and mild nutty oak, with a trace of citrus
• Spicy on the finish

Perfect paired with red meat and aged cheese.
